How to Play
PartyBrain has five game modes, each giving the AI a completely different role. Here's how each one works, how scoring works, and tips to win.
Human or MachineAI Role: Undercover Agent
How a Round Works
- 1.Everyone sees the same creative prompt (e.g., "Write a haiku about pizza").
- 2.All players write their answers. The AI secretly writes 1-2 fake answers too.
- 3.In the voting phase, all answers are shown anonymously. Players vote on which ones they think are AI-generated.
- 4.Points for fooling others with a human-like answer, and for correctly spotting the AI.
Scoring
Correct AI identification: +100 points. Fooling a voter: +50 points per person fooled. Getting caught as AI bait: -50 points.
Pro Tips
- →Write like a real person — typos and casual language can help you blend in.
- →The AI is good at being formal. Look for answers that are 'too perfect'.
- →With 5+ players, there are 2 AI answers — don't use all your votes on one.
Countdown ClashAI Role: Rival Player
How a Round Works
- 1.A trivia question appears with a countdown timer.
- 2.Everyone (including AI) races to answer first.
- 3.Correct answers score points — faster answers score more via speed bonus.
- 4.After all rounds, the player with the most points wins.
Scoring
Correct answer: 100 base points. Speed bonus: up to +100 for fastest. Streak bonuses: 1.5x at 3 streak, 2x at 5 streak.
Pro Tips
- →Speed matters more than you think — the bonus can double your score.
- →Don't guess randomly. Wrong answers break your streak multiplier.
- →The AI is fast but not perfect. It sometimes gets obscure topics wrong.
Pulse CheckAI Role: Prediction Engine
How a Round Works
- 1.A opinion question is shown (e.g., "Pineapple on pizza — yes or no?").
- 2.Everyone answers honestly — this creates the group's real distribution.
- 3.Then everyone (including AI) predicts what percentage of the group picked each option.
- 4.The closest predictions to the actual results score the most points.
Scoring
Prediction accuracy: up to 200 points based on closeness to actual distribution. Exact match bonus: +100. AI gets scored the same way.
Pro Tips
- →Think about WHO is in the room, not just your own opinion.
- →The AI tries to predict based on general population data — it doesn't know your friends.
- →Controversial topics are where you can beat the AI by knowing your group.
Quick DrawAI Role: Creative Opponent
How a Round Works
- 1.Two players are randomly matched up, and a creative prompt is revealed.
- 2.Both players write their best response under a time limit.
- 3.The rest of the group votes for their favorite — plus the AI submits its own entry.
- 4.Winner of each matchup advances. Tournament-style brackets.
Scoring
Win a matchup: 200 points. Getting voted 'funniest': bonus points. Beating the AI head-to-head: +200 bonus.
Pro Tips
- →Short and punchy beats long and clever. Voters scan quickly.
- →The AI is surprisingly good at humor — don't underestimate it.
- →Play to the room. Inside jokes can win votes if the group gets them.
Flip ItAI Role: Puzzle Master
How a Round Works
- 1.The AI generates a word puzzle in real-time (anagrams, word associations, etc.).
- 2.All players see the puzzle simultaneously and race to buzz in.
- 3.First correct buzz-in wins the round. Wrong buzzes lock you out briefly.
- 4.The AI adjusts difficulty based on how fast the group is solving.
Scoring
First correct buzz-in: 150 points. Speed bonus for faster solves. Wrong buzz-in penalty: -50 points and 3-second lockout.
Pro Tips
- →Don't buzz in unless you're sure — the lockout penalty hurts.
- →The AI adapts. If everyone is crushing it, puzzles get harder.
- →Look for common word patterns first before trying exotic answers.
